The graphics you see on this page are real C65 bitmap graphics (320x200 pixel mode). They all are calculated on the original machine, i made a memory dump and converted the bitmaps into .pcx format, then (for the web) into .gif. I had to modify the palette-colors from 4 to 8 bit values, of course, but i managed to keep the colors near at the original. I will soon write more about the C65's bitmap graphics in the docs section.

On the left side we see just another bitmap from gfxdemo (c=(x*y+c)/240). This time in 64 colors, more to come.. :-). The picture to the right was produced using the Plasma Builder by Stephan Kleinert from his C65 demo disk (see links section for download locations). Though it only has 8 colors (i did reduce the screen resolution from 320 interlaced to 320*200 but did not change anything else),it looks quite nice, anyway.

Again we have some pictures from the GFXDEMO, wich can be downloaded as .PRG or ASCII source. Both graphics have a 32 color palette (5 bitplanes). The left picture was calculated with c=(x*x+y*y)/600, the right one with c=x*x*sin(y)/400.

On we go with two very nice and colorful plasma fields, this time non-fractal. Both are 320x200x6 (64 colors). The left one was calculated with c=(sin((x/10)*1)+(sin((y/10)*1)))*12, the right one with c=(sin((x/80)*1)+(sin((y/80)*1))+(sin((x/80)*3)+(sin(y/80)*5))+(sin((x/80)*7)+(sin(y/80)*9)))*10. Once again i used GFXDEMO1 to calculate the pictures.
